![]() Kyle is 9yrs old and has been competing in Grasstrack racing since mid 2009. 2010 was Kyle's first full year of racing and in July 2010 he was crowned British Youth Grasstrack Champion. This was a major achievement for Kyle to win this meeting and be crowned British Champion. 2011 started with a bang! Kyle won all his meetings at Lancashire, Yorkshire, Bridgewater, Pickering, Kyle really did get off to a flyer and was also leading 2x Club Championship rounds and again being favourite to win the British Youth Grasstrack Championships. But one week before this event Kyle fractured his right leg in a training accident at Workington. So Kyle has missed the last rounds at Yorkshire and Lancashire Club Championships. Grasstrack so far .... His honours in 2010/11 included: Speedway so far .... In 2011 again there was six rounds. Kyle went to the first round at Newport only to seize his engine in his first outing and finishing the day on only 3 points. The second round at Buxton Kyle got 8 points from 4 rides one of them was a crash coming out of the second bend where he collected another rider and also colliding with the fence. Kyle lost out in a place in the final by 1 point finishing the day 5th overall. Third round at Plymouth Kyle did not ride as he was racing at a Grasstrack Club Championship round at Yorkshire. Fourth round was at the Isle of White where Kyle had 4 straight wins in his heats to be top point scorer. Kyle had first choice of gates position for the final. Kyle picked gate 4 and didn't make the best of starts but rounded two riders on the first bend and was second in hot pursuit of the leader. Kyle went round the outside of the leader to take to the front and pulled about 10 bike lengths ahead of the chasing pack to only have an engine failure on the last lap to finish 4th overall in the final. Kyle then fractured his right leg in a training accident that finished his season.
